Where to stay in Alona Beach, Panglao

Well, part of the excitement is we haven't booked anything in advance even though we have done a lot of research about where to stay in Alona beach. We booked one place for 3 nights and then we will figure it out from there. There is a reason behind this- you never know what you're going to get. Ever stay at a place that doesn't look anything like the pictures? And we are staying in countries where AC and hot water are luxuries. This little condo has both! It's the perfect size and it's poolside. It's not really set up for cooking, but that's okay because I really want to dig into some Fillipino food!

Plus, there are a couple cats that seem to like us, and I don't mind having them hanging on the porch!

Also, anywhere that is at all "hotel" like is called a resort!
