What to do in Lovina: Two Day Itinerary

2 day itinerary for Lovina

Bali is an Island a little bit bigger than the size of Delaware making it easy to get around and explore all areas of it during a vacation. So during your stay you should definitely make time to go to Lovina. Lovina is a beautiful and quiet little beach town on the north west coast of the island. It's a nice and relaxing area away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Ubud, but it's not without it's own set of adventures! So if you only have a short amount of time to spend there these are the highlights you can't miss!

Day 1:

Dolphin Watching/ Swimming with the Dolphins: It's a great way to start the morning and you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to do it. We met our boat captain at 8AM and it was just the two of us, since more of the tourists go out at 6:30 AM, Bring a towel and some water, but breakfast and coffee were provided.

Git Git Waterfalls: Located just outside of Lovina, this extremely tall waterfall is something you can't miss! The walk down is about 10 minutes and not to steep, which is great if you aren't looking to "feel the burn" (which I'm not.) (Pro-tip: get a Sarong from a vendor here they are the cheapest you will find!)

Have Dinner at the 10th Table: Make a reservation, Get a little dressed up and go enjoy this beautiful Bistro. The service, food and atmosphere is perfectly beautiful and intimate!(Check out their website here.)

Day 2:

Get Coffee at COFFEENOSKY: Sita outside upstairs to get beautiful views of rice fields while enjoying some local kombucha and a delicious Latte!

Banjar Healing Hot Springs: These hot springs have the perfect combination of heat and sulphur make for a relaxing experience. Many locals bring their children there to enjoy an afternoon making it family friendly.

Brahma Vihara Arama: A Buddhist temple with beautiful views and a relaxing feel. You can grab a mat and meditate or just walk the ground of the compound. Make sure you have a sarong and your shoulders are covered, but if not they will lend you something. Also pay attention to signs asking you to take shoes off before entering buildings.

Make sure to check out the Dolphin Statue in town: Walk around and eat at one of the local warungs while you're at it. You really can't miss with any of the food! Try some seafood, it's so fresh!

This is how we made the most of our time in Lovina and we really enjoyed the balance of relaxation and exploration this sweet little beach town has to offer. What did you do in Lovina?
